Explore the archaeology and mythology of ancient Greece on this private full-day tour. You will visit the archaeological sites of Mycenae & Epidaurus plus the historic port town of Nafplio. 

The fortified citadel of ancient Mycenae, the seat of the mythical and mighty King Agamemnon. An impressive and well-preserved site, the city of Mycenae gave its name to an entire civilization. The period of Greek history from about 1600 BC to about 1100 BC is called Mycenaean in reference to Mycenae.

Next Stop Nafplio. One of the most beautiful towns in the area of Argolis as well as one of the most romantic cities all over Greece, Nafplio was the first capital of the newly born Greek state between 1823 and 1834.

Porto Heli to Spetses is approximately 1 nautical miles distance apart. The typical crossing time for ferries from Porto Heli to Spetses is 10- 15’.

The Greek island of Spetses is part of the Saronic group of islands and is known for its long association with the navy and is famous for the part it played in the 1821 War of Independence. It was on the island that the revolution flag was hoisted in April 1821. 

Spetses a pine-covered island in the Argo-Saronic archipelago is the picture of old-world elegance: climbing bougainvilleas, neoclassical mansions and horse-drawn carriages line the handsome port, where sea taxis bob about beneath wartime cannons.

There are no cars allowed in the Old Harbour and Dapia, and only residents with special permits may bring vehicles to the island. Spetses is the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful walk as the cobble streets and fragrant gardens make it a joy to discover the island on foot.
